The Monsaraz

The Monsaraz San Diego, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is a boutique hotel located in beautiful Point Loma. Its design was crafted to provide an immersive and welcoming ecosystem with an evocative and effortless use of hand-hewn materials, custom handcrafted tiles, mid-century modern furniture and inspiring art features. It’s 92 guestrooms surround a 4,000 square foot open-air courtyard that houses an enchanting living tree, locally painted and designed mural and a living wall of plants. The goal was to craft a space where guests and locals alike could gather for cocktails by the fire, live music, art installations or any event that inspires collaboration and interaction among guests. The guestrooms were designed with a Portuguese flair that crosses over into local Point Loma beach culture. The amazing views include the rolling Point Loma hills, San Diego bay and Downtown skyline. Every aspect of this project was well thought out with the guest experience in mind. Locals will find a new refreshing place to re-experience Point Loma’s beauty, while visitors will return home with a piece of local culture.
