The San Diego Veteran’s Hospital Emergency Department Renovation was a multi-phased project to perform a top to bottom remodel of the Emergency Room services for the San Diego VA. The project was highly technical in many respects, specifically the structural and abatement work in and above the active ER area. While the project consisted of remolding the Emergency Room due to service upgrades, work extended far into other areas of the hospital. The nature of this project required a high degree of coordination with hospital Representatives, Hospital Facilities and the Army Core of Engineers for sequencing of work, shutdowns and deliveries.
