Richard & Richard Construction, Inc. Services and Awards

THINK OUTSIDE THE TOOLBOX.

Philosophy

The fundamental truth in commercial construction: you’re not building a structure, you’re building a business. That’s what sets Richard & Richard apart. We understand that your space must be a physical testament to your vision. That’s why, before we set the first nail, we make sure we understand not just your project parameters, but your idea of business success.

“For us, "scope of work" is merely a starting point. Our team members instinctively reach for greater success, addressing each item while aiming for the best possible end result. While other companies focus on industry standards for quality and workmanship, our standard is whatever it takes to achieve success.”

— Rick Woolsey, CEO

Accuracy

We don’t do guesswork. Experience has taught us that the only way to successfully meet your scope, timeline and budget is with a process that ensures accuracy at every level. At Richard & Richard, this process means accountability for each team member and transparency for you.

“When we look at a structure, what we see is an interconnected myriad of details - each one as important as the next. Seeing ahead of time how all these come together makes the difference.”

— Rod Andrew, Chief Estimator

Communication

Communication is the cornerstone of all success. Not just emails, but open, thorough and frequent dialogue. At Richard & Richard, you’ll have one contact person, available to you day or night. Job description: to keep you informed of everything you need to know when you need to know it.

“One big key to success is communicating thoroughly and frequently with clients and each other. That way, there are no ugly surprises.”

— Brad Allaband, Project Manager

Flexibility

Flexibility is the ability and willingness to react to your circumstances, rather than making you adjust to ours. Our broad skill sets and diverse network of partners allow us to scale for any size project and help shield your project from fluctuations in the market and economy.

“Flexibility is two things: experience and, quite frankly, willingness. We understand every facet of this business and therefore how to adapt. Just as importantly, we start every project knowing that, no matter the situation, we will do whatever it takes achieve success. Period.”

— Dave Rex, President

Partnership

What’s the difference between vendor and partner? A partner is someone who acts in your interest even when you’re not looking. Who understands your business, not just your budget. Who knows that the first job of a construction company is to build trust.

“Any building is a direct reflection of the partnership that created it. Strong relationships built on trust, communication and ethics result in projects that meet goals and stand the test of time.”

— Dave Rex, President

Strength

Our partners often tell us we combine the agility of a small company with the strengths of a big company. Richard & Richard has spent decades building the financial stability, breadth of resources, and economies of scale that can truly make a difference to your projects.

“Because of our experience and diversity of knowledge, we perform tasks that are supposed to require a company three times our size.”

— Brad Allaband

Technology

Too many contractors are building 21st century projects with 20th century tools. Richard & Richard is the exception. We invest in proven technologies. Not for our own sake, but because it advances our capabilities and saves our clients time and money.

“Today, some of the most important construction tools don't go on your belt. They go on your screen. We're committed not just to adapt, but to lead.”

— Gary Seward, Lead Architect
