Description
The new Fun Bike Center, now the largest motorcycle showroom west of the Mississippi, relocated the dealership into (3) renovated two-story concrete tilt-up structures. A new 13,000 SF, double-height entry atrium spanning between two of the existing buildings, employs a canted, curved glass and metal curtain wall system with integral sun shades, representative of motorcycle twin engine cylinders. Large portions of the second floor in the existing buildings were removed to create a second level mezzanine and better link the two merchandising levels visually. The resulting 108,000 SF motorcycle and watercraft emporium extends over 500 feet in length. The third existing structure was converted into a 37,000 SF service and repair facility.
